Thinking it places low-income people at an unjust drawback – and a never-ending period of debt – municipalities provincewide are continuing their crackdown in the pay day loan industry.
Chatham-Kent will be the jurisdiction that is latest to battle lenders, with an employee report slated to come before council on Monday listing prospective laws, and a well planned movement to adhere to. Continue reading
